Barcelona FC Wins UEFA Champions League 2015

FC Barcelona sealed the season with a win of the 2015 UEFA Champions League today making it a triple win. It was a good end to a season for the Spanish side as they defeated Juventus FC 3-1.

The club, which featured regulars such as Messi, Neymar, Pique showed their determination from the onset of the game. They grabbed an early lead in the fourth minute via Croatian Rativic’s goal. It was a display of good football on the part of the champions. The win is the fifth for Barcelona as European champions.

Juventus showed a lot of brilliance during the game, keeping Barcelona on their toes”. They kept on the pressure and eventually paid off in the tenth minute of the second half when the former Real Madrid player, Morata put the rebound ball from Tevez shot past the Barcelona goal keeper. The celebration did not last long in the Juventus camp, because fourteen minutes later, the former Liverpool striker, Luis Suarez got the leading goal for the champions.

The fate of Juventus was sealed on the dot of the last minute of the extra time for the game, as the Brazilian striker Neymar put the third goal past Bufon.
